World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
The upgrade of items allows players to raise the item level of armor and weapons that can be equipped. This boosts the stats of the item and may also include buffs or rerolls an attach.
It is important to keep in mind that while you can upgrade magic and other common equipment, it's generally not worth the cost. Rare and exclusive equipment will soon surpass upgraded magic and common equipment.
Cost
When a player decides to upgrade an item, they have to pay Gold for the upgrade. The cost of upgrading an item depends on its current level and upgrade type chosen. Upgrades to weapons are typically less expensive than upgrades to armor since weapons have less requirements. The amount of Gold required for upgrading an item increases as the item is upgraded.
The upgraded items will also have enhanced stats that can boost its performance in various ways. This includes increasing the power of its attack, critical strike chance, or damage per second. The upgraded item can also provide additional buffs to the unit it's equipped with. These upgrades are able to be used to boost a variety of purposes for example, to increase the overall strength of a particular or group unit. They also can affect the overall gameplay.
Any item upgrader NPC can be found in the game. In general these NPCs are found in capital cities or major questing areas. Players can also find item upgraders by visiting dungeons with high-level bosses, or by talking to NPCs in their faction's garrisons.
The World of Warcraft item upgrade system allows players to upgrade the level of weapons, armor and trinkets. This procedure is similar to the reforging of gear in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However instead of using currency, players need to visit an upgrader for their item to complete the process.
Upgrades to items can be expensive, particularly when it concerns armor and weapons. Based on the upgrade track you select, each item level increase will cost Crests or Valorstones. The cost can be prohibitive for those who do not have the money or are unable to grind.
The game lets you play a reroll of an upgraded item using a special tool from the menu of items. This option will replace the upgraded item with the level 1 version which offers different bonuses. This is useful to gain better results on items which are already upgraded. However, it can be a waste of time.

Upgrading is the process of increasing the level of the items that are equippable such as trinkets, weapons and armor. This improves their effectiveness and makes them more effective in combat. Players can upgrade their gear by paying the appropriate currency at an upgrader. However, players should be aware that some upgrades have specific requirements.
The earliest upgrades only increase the stats of the item's base by one level, but later upgrades provide more significant boosts. For example, upgrading a weapon from level three to level six will increase the weapon's damage by two levels. A bonus stat will also be added to the upgraded item based on the level. The bonus consists of a substat that is guaranteed and a randomly generated stat that can vary from upgrade to upgrade.
Reroll Tokens can be used to reroll an item which has been upgraded. The new item has a different set extra bonuses, and is of a lower level of the item. The rerolled item will also have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to remember that the rerolled item will not retain its level or have any of its wasted resources.
Rerolling upgraded items is only possible if the item was upgraded was Epic Rare, Rare or Unique. Extraordinary items are also allowed to be rerolled, but their original stats will be replaced by an uninvolved bonus. Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will result in the normal version, and rerolling the Epic version will result in an elite version.
An upgraded item may also have extra modifiers, which can increase the stats of the item and enhance its performance. These additional modifiers aren't included in the upgrade cost. They can be acquired through the questing process, purchasing them from the Trading Post or from other players. Alternatively, they can be earned through completing certain missions in the game.
To upgrade an equipment piece it is necessary to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine. You will require Power Dices depending on the item. (Dice 6 are dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 can be found from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time is a factor.
Items upgrades can be used to improve the performance of your gear and ship without the need to upgrade them. They're not cheap, but they can be an effective method to boost your stats and not have to spend as much time in battle. However, it's important to be aware of the cost and benefits of item upgrades before investing your time or money.
Each upgrade increases the stats of the item by to a certain extent and also gives the chance to obtain an additional substat. The random substat may range from a small boost to a massive boost. It is best to concentrate on the most effective items in the slot first, as they'll yield a higher return on your investment.
You can see the amount of time needed to complete an upgrade when you open your inventory and choose an item such as a ship, weapon or other accessory. The upgrade window will display the expected completion date and progress. In some cases you may be able to speed up the process of upgrading by using a Glyph.
Black Lion Salvage or Ascended Salvage sell a high-level salvage kit that allows you to salvage all or a portion of upgrade components. This does not apply to legendary equipment or upgrades that can only be recovered using an upgrade extractor or reclaiming with the corresponding Karma dealer.

The upgrade of items rewards players with a number of items and currencies. In addition, every upgrade can provide a random extra stat bonus. The amount of bonus value varies between upgrades, and is generally higher for rare items. Players can use the Great Vault search to see whether an item can be upgraded prior to purchasing tickets. The search will also reveal whether the item is the appropriate level and if the player could benefit from an upgrade.
During the upgrade process, an item will slowly grow closer to the next level, but not always reach the full upgrade bar. This process consumes Growthstones and Sollant and Sollant, but there's the chance to achieve an item that is fully upgraded in only one cycle of growth. The higher the level an item is upgraded to the higher its boosted stat value and the more items it is able to upgrade into.
Upgrade components can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets to provide an attribute benefit or an additional effect while the equipment is being used. Certain upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving them as gifts. In addition players can retrieve upgraded items by using an Upgrade Extractor or salvaging them with a salvage kit. Glyphs, which are stored in gathering tools are able to be swapped out without restrictions.
The player can transform an item into another upgradeable item by selecting it and pressing the green button a reroll arrow. This will alter the layout of the game and allow players to choose up to six items to be used for "recycling". The item will be replaced with a level 1 item. Recycled items don't keep their level or the amount of resources needed to upgrade them.
An item's maximum upgrade level is determined by its tier and the quality. Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels of nine, while common items can only be upgraded to level six. Upgrades to items are added to the base statistics of the item and won't increase after a specific point.
